Biography: Jake was pictured as the bad kid while growing up. He even Dated Faye Chaimberlain a few years back, but dumped her. He also worked at The Boathouse with the Conant's, but then betrayed their trust by stealing money from the Restaurant. He left Chance Harbor, leaving Nick alone. He then came back to Nick's funeral after his Brother's death. He also came back as a Witch Hunter, trying to kill Cassie and her Circle, working with Isaac. He realized when Cassie got captured, that he loved Cassie, and wanted to save her, which he did, but he left with Isaac and the rest of the Witch Hunters. He then came back with alarming news. He said that he was there at the ferry when the fire happened that killed the Circle's parents. Cassie and Jake went back into his memories with a spell to find out what caused the Fire sixteen years ago. They had discovered that it was supposed to be a truce meeting with the Witch Hunters, but the Hunters killed the others, and tried to kill John Blackwell, but John used his Magic to escape, leaving the Circle members to burn in the very fire that was supposed to be for him. He then started to hate Witch Hunters, wanting avenge Nick and his parents. When John Blackwell came back, he used Jake and to get what he wanted - The Crystal Skull. John had failed to kill Witches with no Balcoin blood and died as the result of his attempt due to Cassie and Diana using their Dark Magic on their own father. While Blackwell came back, he started have a relationship with Faye again.
