Brief History: Kayla was taken care of by her father David Briggs. When she was 5 Kayla did some magic without understanding it and so her father who was trying to repel the magic that he was born to put her up for adoption. She was taken in by Denis and Paula. She found out they were witch hunters when she was 16 after she had been practicing for 5 years. She ran away from them to look for her father. She found out that he had been killed by witch hunters while he was looking for her. So she decided to continue on, when she met Cody. He was a witch as well and they started to practice together. When she was 17 she decided to move on. She was upset to leave him but she felt it was best. Mainly because she started to like him as more then a friend. So she moved on and on her 18th birthday she found herself in Chance Harbor, Washington.
