It was early morning, and the sun had still not begin to rise yet. The sky was dark, but slightly glowing on the horizon, anticipating the sun. The night before it had rained, so the air was damp and a bit chilly, and there was dew on the leaves. Birds were out, chirping away. Lilith walked quietly through the forest, taking her time. She was in no big rush this current morning. It was a Saturday. She didn't have to pretend she was some nice, happy, energetic teacher. She hated it,rather despised it. But, she had to play the part, and people sure did believe it quite well. Lilith had been working with an acquaintance, or rather friend now. The past few days they had been tracking down witches, killing them one by one. Today though, Matthew was busy with his own things, so she was on her own like she was used to. Lilith hadn't had a real chance to explore the town yet, and figured the forest was a good start. It seemed like the perfect place for a witch to be.
Lilith had been in the forest for a while now, she had woken up and couldn't fall asleep again, so here she was. The sun was now starting to rise, and the sky slowly start to light up. She remained quiet, enjoying the silence throughout the forest, besides the annoying creatures making noises."Birds are so annoying."She said out loud to herself. She was wearing a gray peacoat, along with jeans and gray flats to match the coat. As her hands rested in the pockets of the coat, one held a small switch blade. She was always prepared, no matter what. Who knows what she might run into around here.
